Dr. Xu is an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Medicine at the Dalian University of Technology. Before joining DLUT in 2021, he completed his postdoctoral training at Hwang Lab. His research focuses on artificial intelligence in biomedical imaging fields (particularly Pathology AI), medical image computing, imaging informatics, and machine learning. Before that, he received his Ph.D. in Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at University of Alberta in Edmonton, Canada, July 2017, M.S. and Bachelor’s degree in College of Inormation Engineering at Northwest A&F University in Yangling, China, July 2012 and 2009, respectively.
